Education / Working Experience:
Dirk Loop is a founder and shareholder of cipoc Ltd. He has an apprenticeship as skilled banker and studied National Economics. Loop began his career at the Controlling Department of an international bank. 2001 he helped to set up the Public and Investor Relations department of one Germany's leading providers of investment services including financial advice and retirement solutions (M-Dax). As a chief executive assistant (CEA) he helped to start the award winning world's first investment trust focussed on the Knowledge Economy. This team founded another spin-off which is today one of the world's leading Business Process Outsourcing company (BPO) for economic Patent-Management and Open Innovation. 2006 he quit his job, sold his stake and founded cipoc. // For publications and speeches see "Media".

In 2008 Loop hosted the 2nd German Patent-Valuation-Days (2ten Deutschen Patentbewertungstagen), still one of the most influential conferences on Intellectual Property and Corporate Finance in Germany. He blogs at inventopia and hosts the XING-Community Idea- and Innovationmanagement, which probably is the largest community related to this topic.

Loop is a member of the Free Democratic Party (FDP), the Economic council of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP).
